First Presbyterian Church

In addition to normal services and church functions, First Presbyterian church of Lead also offers hygiene and personal care products for those in need. Please call Rev. Jil (605) 545-4554 to access the resources as they have no set open hours. They also receive donations.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul Lead-Deadwood

St. Vincent de Paul is a non-profit providing for the needs of the community. They offer Locations at St. Patrick’s in Lead and St. Ambrose in Deadwood. From their website:

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul offers tangible assistance to those in need on a person-to-person basis. It is this personalized involvement that makes the work of the Society unique. This aid may take the form of intervention, consultation, or often through direct dollar or in-kind service. An essential precept of the Society’s work is to provide help while conscientiously maintaining the confidentiality and dignity of those who are served. The Society recognizes that it must assume, also, a role of advocacy for those who are defenseless or voiceless. Some 12 million persons are helped annually by Vincentians in the United States.

Trinity United Methodist Church 

Trinity United Methodist church provides quite a few services to the community from worship and education, to family events and housing the Lord’s Cupboard food pantry.

Twin City Animal Shelter

A loving animal care facility in the Lead Deadwood community for homeless animals that need to find caring safe homes.

Twin City Clothing Center (“Free Store”) .

Provides free clothing, household items, and toys.  Donations are always accepted.

Black Hills Rod and Gun Club

Black Hills Rod and Gun club is open to any individual interested in gun and hunting safety.

Good Shepherd ClinicPlease call Monument Health Clinic and tell them you are a GSC patient and they will give you more information.

Good Shepherd Clinic, located in Spearfish, is a free walk-in clinic providing quality, confidential, professional medical care and emergency dental care to the uninsured, ages 19-64, of the Northern Black Hills.

Boys & Girls Club of Lead- Deadwood

Dynamic after school and summer programs, for grades K-12,that promote academic success, healthy lifestyles, the arts, character and leadership and more.

The Handley Recreation Center

The Handley exists to ensure a positive and healthy experience for all ages and programming that fosters wellness for the whole person.
