Fireworks are go on 7/4!!

Happy Golden Days!

The 4th of July is the height of summer – the crest of a long awaited peak! And this 4th of July is shaping up to be an amazing one! (Which would be really nice since in my 2.5 years as Chamber director I still have yet to host a regular, great 4th of July weekend!)

I told someone once that I love 4th of July in Lead and they asked why. I think the holiday is best spent in a small community, and that small town America embodies so many of my favorite parts of the holiday. On top of grilled steaks and a day off, parades, fireworks and summer fun, I love that 4th of July celebrates our stubborn resilience; our community ties and resilience to adversity. And Lead to me embodies so much of that, particularly this decade and this year!

I hope you’ll come out and party with us for all or part of the weekend, it’s looking like a really great one!

YES! The FIREWORKS ARE ON!!! Join us for the loudest show in the west over the Open Cut on 7/4/21 at dusk!
