Good Morning Dear Readers!
Wow, hasn’t Fall been beautiful this year? With no early frost, the flowers have been stunning (even though the hanging pots are now crispy shadows of their former glory). Have you seen the beautiful sunflowers behind Aspire Boutique and the still vibrant beds across from Johns and Kosel? I’ve enjoyed these special spots of color! The trees are later to turn without any freezes so it’s hard to even remember that we’re at the end of the month… Where did you go, September?
The Days are getting darker! It always seems like the days start shortening very quickly as we get into fall. Which for some reason always seems a shock… and yet, I love this shift back to winter. The cooler shorter days bring all kinds of festive events to look forward to. Cozy dinners of comfort food (Ah, cooking – how I’ve missed you!), snuggling in blankets watching Great British Baking Show, candles, and planning for the holidays is getting me even more excited for the seasons changing.
Before we get to winter though, enjoy Fall’s last hurrah with our many events hosted and supported by the Chamber this weekend as part of “Fall in Love with Lead!” https://www.leadmethere.org/fallinlovewithlead/
