Good Morning!!
This weekend marks one of my favorite events of the year! (rrrrrrrggggggg…… if you guessed Halloween, you’re wrong!) No, it’s Daylight Savings Time! DST gets such a bad rap, and I might be one of the last people in the whole country who remains a fan! I love the longer summer evenings to spend on my porch, but I also like the change to more light in the morning (Yes please!) And an earlier evening – because earlier evenings mean more cozy. As a kid I always found it thrilling to be going to bed an hour later (and sleeping in!). So when you’re tempted to jump on the complainy DST bandwagon this next week, just remember how much joy both switches can bring to our lives! 🙂
